Dedicated on November 11, 2000, to those who served in the armed forces, the Veterans Memorial Park is located in the heart of Wood Dale, and celebrates all members of the community who made sacrifices for our freedom. An eternal flame burns to signify never-ending gratitude that community members hold for their fallen brethren. The memorial recognizes all five branches of the armed services and honors those who gave their lives while serving their country.
