Prairie Fest  includes live music, carnival rides and games, food vendors and fireworks! The Sounds of Summer and Cruise Nights in Wood Dale is hosted by the City and held at the green space at the intersection of Wood Dale Road and Commercial Street. All concerts and car shows scheduled for Friday nights, are free and also open to the public. Please click here for more details.  

The City-Wide Garage Sale is scheduled to take place September 19-21, 2025, from 9 a.m. to dusk on all days. Registration to participate begins August 1, 2025. Garage sale signs are provided by the City. Residents are welcome to participate on any of the three offered dates. Click here for more details.

The Annual Tree Lighting Celebration is held the first Saturday in November. Activities include crafts, wagon rides, and pictures with Santa. The evening concludes with the lighting of the tree. This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, November 2025 from 3-5 p.m.  Click here for more details.
