The Environmental and Sustainability Committee shall have the following duties:

• To protect, sustain, and improve a clean and healthful environment to benefit present and future generations.
• To make recommendations to the City Council concerning the alleviation of stormwater drainage and sanitary sewer matters within the corporate limits of the City.
• To serve as an Advisory Body to the City Council to provide valuable citizen input.
• Such other and further duties as may be requested by the City Council or City Manager.

Regular meetings of the Environmental and Sustainability Committee will typically be held on the first Wednesday of the months of January, April, July, and October, or as needed in accordance with the City Code.
