Water Tower Construction

The City of Wood Dale will be constructing a new 750,000-gallon water tower for the water distribution system on the property located at 310 E Irving Park Road. The new water tower will provide enhanced system reliability, ensuring adequate water pressure, water quality, and emergency storage, and will replace the existing 100,000-gallon tower located at 269 W Irving Park Road. Sewer Repair

In 2025, the City of Wood Dale will be working with contractors to evaluate and potentially repair aging sewer pipes throughout your area. As sewers age, cracks and breaches can develop, so it is imperative that these are addressed to prevent water from leaking. Damaged sewer pipes can overflow and sewage can leak into the natural environment.

The first stage of the project consists of inspecting sewers to identify structural deficiencies and sources of inflow and infiltration. This stage includes performing smoke testing, manhole inspections and mapping. Then, over the next few years the city will rehabilitate the damaged lines. Click here for more.
