Below is updated information following the December 18 City Council meeting.

The Wood Dale City Council wishes to obtain public input on the matter through a non-binding referendum question, which would be placed on the March 17, 2026, election ballot. More information on the referendum question will be forthcoming on the City website and in the Wood Dale Resident Newsletter, which will be mailed to each household in the city around the end of February 2026.
