Planting of parkway trees is performed annually by the Public Works Department typically by resident request. An arborist shall review the site for suitability and make a recommendation for approval. Plantings are typically performed in the fall when weather is more stable. Please note the Public Works Department has final say on the species and location of all parkway plantings, and per City Code, no one shall plant public trees except as authorized by the Director of Public Works.
